People often ask how I came to acquire The Jeffers Studio Collection of Olympia, Washington. The best way to explain this journey is through a video interview about acquiring this valuable archive. And, while The Jeffers Collection undeniably transformed my career, this acquisition was not the beginning of my photography collecting. Photography has always been a part of my life. My father was a passionate amateur photographer, and I took my first pictures as a child.
